Bt login uses joomla core setting. please check :

1-please goto Users>Manage>options and check the settings like the attached image
2-If the email can not be sent, Joomla will show you an error message, So if you didn't see that, the email should be sent correctly
3-you can ask the server admin to check "Email Delivery" that what happens to the email sent from your host
4-Test one time the default joomla registration form and check if email received or not :
